Announcing Maui Canoe Club's
New Home!

On July 10, 2010 Maui Canoe Club's operations has moved permanently to Sugar Beach just north of the Kealia condos on North Kihei Road. The club's new home on A & B land has been under development since the beginning of 2010 to transform the property into a park-like setting for 8 Hawaiian outrigger canoes.

The new beach-front property has been developed in a manner that will protect the turtles that nest on the beach seasonally. Native plants now abound on the property and grass has replaced the hardpan that had been a parking lot for decades. All of this property development has been made possible through the generous support of Alexander and Baldwin and thousands of manhours of volunteer labor donated by Maui Canoe Club's members.
